Orange Shirt Day 2019
THANK YOU SUPPORTERS!!!!
Sales for Orange Shirt Day 2019 are now closed. Thanks to all who participated this year. In order for custom runs to be done in time, we need to cease sales. This is an indication that this year's fundraiser has been a huge success!
For those that have not yet received their order, please be assured that your order is on it's way! We will make sure that all orders received up until September 18th 5pm are received on or before Friday September 27th. We will also be at the Curve Lake Pow Wow this weekend with a few of this year's overruns if you still want to purchase for the fundraiser.
Monday, September 30th, 2019 is Orange Shirt Day. This day is an annual day of recognition for First Nations, Metis, and Inuit survivors of the residential school system. My mother Georgina attended not one, but three residential schools growing up and I am dedicating this year's print to her.
This year's fundraising efforts will benefit Alderville First Nations' Anishinabe Kwewag Gamig with 100% of the proceeds from Orange Shirt Day sales being dedicated to this organization. We will post on this page shortly following Orange Shirt Day with a total dollar amount raised. Please check back the first week in October.
Thank you for your interest and participation in Orange Shirt Day, 2019.
My mother and residential school survivor, Georgina Kwandibens.
